Just as the characters of History continue to win battles beyond death, Chairman Gonzalo and Gonzalo Thought live forever in the minds and hearts of the working class and the peoples of the world.

Today we feel his departure with deep pain; you have left us with your fist raised and on this stretch of the road showing your human heart, because, in spite of everything, you have continued to fight for those below, for the class, for communism without giving up. You have left us armed with Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, with the light of your thought, with your indelible example of a communist, with your voice of order and perspective. Your facts are there, the carved path, the luminous path in which great men with deep understanding and aware of the reality of their time have put their word into action and with absolute disinterest, serving the people wholeheartedly.

What is done is done, engraved in steel on the back of the mountains, and will serve to complete the incomplete work.

The proletariat has again suffered the loss of one of its greatest sons, but life continues its course and the battle continues until the end, until communism
